MARATHI BHASHA DIVAS
We at Holy Name High School celebrated MARATHI BHASHA DIVAS
On 27th February , 2016.
It was also the birth anniversary of V.V.SHIRVADKAR.
Ms. Vaishali Pawar & Mr. Prasad Mundhe were invited to our school to demonstrate to our students the Art of doing intricate SANSKAR BHARTI rangoli designs.
They along with our teachers Ms.Nilam Prabhu and Ms.Julie Gonsalves taught our students through various steps of crcativity of colours, blends, formations etc.
After the demonstration, the students were put into group to create their own designs. They were free to decide on the theme for their rangoli and the outcome was simply superb for all to see.
